How can data equality become part of everyday law enforcement? The 6th DATA EQUALITY Newsletter looks at how the project’s research and tools are being turned into practical action.
A key highlight is the three-day training in Athens, organised by KMOP, KEMEA and the Hellenic Police on 22–23 and 29 June 2026. The training brought together 134 police representatives to explore data equality, AI, OSINT and the protection of fundamental rights.
Through interactive sessions and discussions, participants exchanged experiences and explored how the European Handbook on Data Equality can support fairer and more inclusive law enforcement practices.
